My most frequented spot in Los Angeles. I love this place. Amazing flaming margaritas, the best salsa in LA, delicious tacos & super friendly staff.

So much fun! Great vibes in this place. The parking lot is tiny and was valet only when we went, but it was great not having to worry about parking. We came here before a Dodgers game and it was packed! The good news is we were seated within 15 minutes. The service was great, and they were great at anticipating our needs. The decor is really nice, and the ambiance can be romantic if you're on a date or fun if you're in a group. The food was great and so were the drinks. Will definitely return!

I am certainly not any kind of connoseur of Mexican food, but I found the food to be fresh, and delicious, and the service excellent. I went too early to hear the music, but I'm sure it would have been as excellent as the food and service! They've been around for a while, on Sunset, in Hollywood, and definitely worth a try.This restaurant came recommended by one of the friendly folks at Sam Ash music. Stop in and browse before or after your meal.

Stopped by after a Dodger game. Despite being busy the wait was short. Host and server were nice, very attentive. Got our food in a timely manner. Great vibe and scenery. Its not cheap so be ready to spend some money.

Always good service and good food. Nice to have local place to go. The atmosphere is nice and the wait staff is always friendly.

This is a great spot for Mexican food. The ambiance is really good, the service is great, and the food better. You can tell everything is fresh, and when I asked for something not on the menu the server didn't hesitate to have it made for me.

The number of stars could be change by the purpose of visiting. With popular flaming margarita and happy hour, it could be nice place for hanging out and drinking. but slightly not appropriate for 5 or more people to eat together. even though food was at least worth for the price and servers are trying hard to be nice, Anyway this place is not bad. tamale was tastyBut Guacamole was gooooooooood :D

I had lunch with some of my colleagues last weekend here and the experience was great! They have the best tasting Wedge Salad, and it was very delicious! We enjoyed a glass of wine after lunch. The place is so welcoming and entertaining. Highly recommended restaurant in the city! Try them now and taste their delectable dishes.

Great place to take friends, family and dates. Food is great and so are the drinks. The chips and Salsa have to be the best chips and Salsa I've ever had, and I have been to many Mexican Restaurants. Service is great and food and drink price is average. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for good food and place to go have drinks.

Really good food with good presentation and an authentic Mexican taste. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with lights and paintings. The servers were very kind and our food got to the table quickly. The live music was great too and added to the atmosphere.

Too expensive, even for Hollywood. I work a block away and love Mexican. Give me a reason to go besides the prestige.

This place never fail to keep me happy, not only with their Micheladas but also with their great service. Even when it's super busy, and I hate waiting. Not here though:)

Great atmosphere. The wait for food was a bit long but my party got drinks at the bar. The portions were big. The service was ok, very busy on Saturday nights. Will definitely be back.

Best Mexican restaurant in the city serves late in the weekends which is a plus for me. Their breakfast burrito is to die for and there flautas when available are one of the best I have eaten no to mention there El Compadre. Great staff very friendly and they always have a smile on there faces.

Great, authentic Mexican food in a unique environment. It's a tiny space with lots of faux red leather and dark wood with low lighting. We went for my son's birthday and they kindly brought dessert and sang happy birthday to him. The live music was terrific. The service was not super- friendly but it felt like the goal was more efficiency. The most unique thing I saw was a drink, maybe a margarita, which they lighted so it would catch fire. I didn't get try this, but maybe next time. This place isn't cheap but it's definitely worth visiting the relatively historic restaurant.

Love El Compadre, one of my favorite Mexican spots in the city. They have so many different veggie options, which is sometimes rare for Taquerias. Their tacos are large, but not the best item to get on the menu. All their veggie burritos are amazing though, and you cannot beat their salsa bar. Honestly, nothing makes me more mad then going to a Taqueria and having to fight for more salsa cups!

Service was ok, might have been a busy night when we went. Food was reasonably priced and tasted good. Got the vegetarian enchiladas. My only real complaint is that the food was extremely oily, greasy to the point that the oiliness was undigested and visited me again later. I prefer El Coyote, I won't be returning.

Food- Very fresh and authentic. The chicken and beans were well cooked. All the ingredients were visible and in whole pieces. Best part, the tortillas are made in house. I ordered chips, salsa, and the spicy burrito. But I'll be back as I have my eye on a few traditional items and their signature tacos.

VERY impressed with their carnitas. I was hoping to find a burrito in the neighborhood that wasn't the normal, mediocre place I'd settle for on Columbus. I popped open Google, searched "burrito" and saw some of these other wonderful reviews and decided to give it a shot.

Me and a buddy of mine went here yesterday for national taco day and it was really good I got a Carne Asada burrito And it was bomb I ate the whole thing! This restaurant is in a very crowded area but it seems very nice very Hispanic orientated which I like, very Spanish culture area. Really like this place definitely super low-key that I really really enjoy definitely going to be coming back very soon.

Mexican food at its finest. With live entertainment and drinks that will knock your socks off. This Hollywood gem will have to coming back. Make a reservation as I did and was promptly seated to enjoy what El Compadres has to offer. Street parking after 7pm

Lovely little spot in LA. The waiter was very attentive and the food was great. Perfect place for a date night! The portions are good sized. We chose the prix fixe dinner and I couldn't finish all 3 courses. I look forward to coming back!

This is one of my favorite places to go! Amazing atmosphere. The greatest strawberry margaritas ever! And I love the lobster enchiladas or the shrimp fajitas. Wonderful service. Can’t wait for my next visit to LA!

This authentic Mexican place was quite a surprise. Right when we entered, the live music was playing and the whole atmosphere was outstanding. They also had patio areas in the back and they were even more romantic. The food was somewhat heavy and cheesy for my taste but everything else was great. We had such a relaxing and quality dinner time here.

Flaming Margaritas. Comfy booths. Lit salsa. Can highly recommend the pork chop, tamales, Chile relleno, and veggie enchiladas. Reservation recommended for prime weekend time. Local knowledge tip: waiting for your table in the back next to the patio is more chill than out front or by the bar. We'll be back for sure.

I have been into multiple restaurants, but this one is the best among them. The foods are extremely tasty, and the services are one of a kind. I really had a great time from this restaurant together with my family, and I'm sure that I will come back again and order some more. Thank you so much! You guys are amazing!

I was feeling happy to experience having dinner in your classy restaurant. I like your staves because they were so accommodating and courteous. I was astonished when your staff served my order immediately. I like the taste of the beefsteak because it was so juicy and not salty. Perfect restaurant! Strongly recommended!

Good food, nice staff, fast service and has its own parking area! The staff was also very helpful and friendly. Usually serving time more or less 45min to 1 hour. Wow! The most important thing was, the food was very delicious and it was very affordable. You should definitely give a treat to your friends of family here in this Restaurant!

I love this place! It's dark inside and that makes this place have a unique ambiance. The service is top notch, the food is amazing and the prices are reasonable. They have a pretty good sized place, so waiting for seating is never an issue. Maybe 10-15 minutes. Overall, I recommend this place and if you're in LA, definitely go!

Excellent food! I had enchiladas mole and they were delicious. Everything tasted fresh and homecooked. The band was fantastic. We sat close to them and they played at the perfect volume for setting the mood and we could still have great conversations at our table. I had the flan for dessert and I was awesome. Highly recommend!!

This place is home to me. Love getting a table by the bar right next to the band. Flaming margaritas are strong so be careful! Service is always fast and prompt. Just a great atmosphere all around

Amazing authentic Mexican food, everything on their menu is delicious! There was 10 of us & they were able to host us with no problem! Chips & salsa while we waited for the food, prices are more then reasonable & we were very happy with our waitress!! This place is a hidden treasure

I wasn’t impressed with the service, but more the food. We waited about 20 minutes for a seat. No one greeted to seat us, we had to walk down to the middle of the restaurant. Once seated, our waitress/water girl was super sweet and genuine. The beef tacos were delicious, the salsa was delicious and so was the speed of how quickly the food came out. Overall look of the restaurant was traditional and mysterious. It was fun trying something new but the service staff needs to be more up to speed.

All of our food was absolutely delicious. And the margaritas as were great to:) Next time I'm in town I will definitely eat there again. The staff was very friendly and took great care of us

El Compadre provided a really nice experience. Initially upon entering, it was confusing and difficult to find the hostess stand. They stayed open bar seating but obviously it was packed so we put ourselves down for a table. Wait time was 15 minutes with no reservations. We stood around and went back to the hostess stand and were then seated at the 15 minute mark. They did not call our names like they said they would.The food was amazing. The ceviche was not fishy and had great flavor. The El Padron had amazing flavor and was a huge serving. And the Chimichanga was perfectly flavored and cooked.Overall the experience was good and the food was better. Quick service once we were seated.

One of our favorite Mexican restaurants in WeHo. Food is good. Margheritas are amazing. Always good for a date night especially with live music playing

First time there. A Lil busy on weekends. But the food was good! I definitely would go back to enjoy some other entrees on the menu.

Best Mexican restaurant in LA loved the decor and customer service. Very friendly staff with always a smile on their face. We got traditional Mexican food and it was awesome. We had to try their flaming drink which they are famous for. Everything soPerfect even the salsa and chips they serve at the beginning. 5/5. I came all the way down from Montreal Canada. Parking available In the back.

Amazing seating and atmosphere. Sure to impress anyone you might bring along. Soup and one taco combo is actually a good amount of food.
